Scott and Glenna are both life long residents of the Geneva Lakes area, graduating from Big Foot High in Walworth Wi. Scott enlisted in the Marines where he advanced to the rank of sergeant. In 1983 he met and married Glenna. They moved to Lexington Ky. where Scott had the good fortune to apprentice under an old time carpenter with a respected design/build company. The opportunity to learn the ways of the old time craftsman instilled a sense of pride in his own workmanship. Missing friends and family the couple moved back to Wisconsin where Scott was hired on a crew building large custom homes in the Barrington, Il. area. Within  a year he was building his own home and starting his family. Ten more years passed and he was lead man on the framing crew, with 2 daughters, 2 dogs and an artistic wife. Glenna was continuing to develop her skills as an artist and decorator and was learning stain glass restoration. Scott felt at 35 it was now or never to fulfill his ambition and start his own business. Once again Scott and Glenna seemed the perfect partners in a full service building company. Today, along with their full time duties as business owners, Glenna has found time to donate her time and talents to the S.M.I.L.E.S  Organization. She painted a horse for the 2008 "Horsing Around Town"  in Lake Geneva where she received 2nd place for her entry. In 2009 she painted 2 more horses, one of which was used as the dining table center piece during a fund raiser at the area's premeir mansion. Scott finds time for his garden and building rustic furniture.
